This website is a service provided by Carter Reid Legal (CRL). It is owned and operated by CRL. The Medical Negligence People (MNP) is also a trading name or style belonging to Carter Reid Limited.
Both CRL and MNP are Authorised and Regulated by The Financial Conduct Authority in respect of regulated claims management activities – registration recorded on www.fca.org.uk/firms/claims-management.
By using this website you agree to accept these terms and conditions. If you do not accept any of the terms and conditions you should not use the website and are not entitled to use it. By using the website you confirm that you are aged 18 years or older. If you are younger than 18 years of age you are not entitled to use our website. Our website is operated as an online information source for medical or clinical negligence claims.
It is part of our service provision to put potential claimants who may have a medical or clinical negligence claim in touch with a specialist solicitor.
Specialist solicitor firms pay CRL a marketing fee to market their services. This fee does not relate to a specific matter but marketing generally in relation to medical or clinical negligence. Our fee does not affect the value of your claim. We allocate your claim to one of our specialist medical or clinical negligence solicitor firms. All panel f irms are regulated by the Solicitor Regulation Authority. It should be noted that we don’t provide a whole of market search and allocation is limited to our own panel.
You will not enter into any agreement or contract with us CRL nor MNP. We will not charge you any fee.
You may enter into an agreement for legal services with one of our panel firms. Any terms and conditions with regard to these legal services are purely between you and the particular panel solicitors firm and do not relate in any way to the terms and conditions agreed to when using our website service provision.
You do not at any stage need to use any of the solicitors firms on our panel and you have a complete right to pick your own firm of solicitors that are not on our panel if you want to. By using this website service you are not compelled in any way to use any specific solicitor; the choice remains yours.
Neither CRL nor MNP accept any liability whatsoever for any advice given by any panel solicitors firm that you may have been allocated to.
